We built them the bed we’d want ourselves.

Six years ago, Hooman became the first brand to design pet beds that mirror the human sleep experience. We’d noticed the same thing you probably have: given the choice, pets would rather sleep in a human bed than a pet one. They had the right idea. A mattress with real support, soft sheets kept clean, and a cosy spot off the cold floor.

LUXOR brings those same comforts to dogs and cats, thoughtfully scaled down. A multi-layer memory foam mattress contours to their body for soft, cushioned support. The solid wood frame and sculpted headboard are upholstered in beautiful velvet, available in three carefully chosen colours to make their bed a feature in your home.

Soft 400TC cotton bedding slips off and goes straight into the wash, keeping their sleeping space fresh. Clean sheets become part of their routine, just like yours. And best of all, when the bedding wears out, you replace the bedding, not the bed.

Every LUXOR comes complete with the frame, mattress, pillows, bedding and a naming kit to make it their own. Everything they need, right down to their name.

First of, thanks so much for making these! My little furbaby absolutely loves his new bed which means I finally got my own bed back lol. I was surprised how good the bed looks and feels in real life, literally a miniature human bed.

It was really easy to setup, took me around 15 minutes. Only issue I had was the additional set of silk sheets haven't arrived yet, but in the meantime myself and "captain" are so so happy with the bed. Could not recommend more to the furmama's out there.

So happy as the bed is great for our 14 years old Shih Tzu who suffers from old age and its been hard finding her a soft but supportive bed recently. This ticks all the boxes and she looks pretty good in the photos in her new bed :D

Shipping just took longer than expected. At checkout it says 2-5 days but it took a week and half to arrive. Regardless, we think it was worth the wait!

We ordered this for our little Shih Tzu pup Vanny. If you have a shih tzu you know their hair can get horrid tangled, especially with restrictions limiting groomer visits, and I’ve read that silk or satin sheets supposedly help keep human hair tangle-free.

The great news is that it works just as well for pup hair! Double benefit as it makes brushing at home less painful for her (and easier for us). Look at how comfortable Vanny is in the attached pic! 5 stars all around.

What it takes up in your room

Both sizes of the Luxor, drawn to the same set of measurements. The sleeping surface sits 21 cm off the floor on every one.

Luxor dimensions. Small: 67 cm wide, 73 cm deep, 56 cm high, mattress 69 by 55 cm. Large: 80 cm wide, 83 cm deep, 64 cm high, mattress 78 by 65 cm. Sleeping height 21 cm on both.

Photographed square on, so the rules sit against the bed itself. Sleeping height is floor to the top of the mattress — the climb, not the gap underneath.

Before you ask

Measure nose to base of tail. Under 53 cm takes the Small, over 53 cm the Large, and over 66 cm we do not have a bed for you. The size finder covers 94 breeds — and a cat is comfortably inside the Small.

Strip the sheet and pillowcases and put them in at 60° with the rest of your bedding. No separate cycle, no special detergent.

No. It is sold separately — $35 for the Small, $39 for the Large. Everything else in the photographs comes with the bed.

Yes. A spare cotton set is $45 and a silk set is $78. Most people keep a second set so the bed is never out of action on wash day.
