The sleep surface is identical between the Luxor and the Soho at each size — the difference between them is the upholstery and the shape of the frame, which is why their overall footprints differ.

With them standing, run a tape from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail — where the tail meets the body, not the end of it. That number is what our sizes are built around, not their weight.
One tip worth more than the tape: watch how they actually sleep. Curled in a ball, stretched out on their side, flat on their stomach? Measure the longest dimension they take up in their favourite position. A stretcher needs the room.
Go up. A dog with room to stretch will use the bed; a dog whose paws hang off it won't. The only reason to go down is space in your room.
And one practical order of operations: choose the size, sleep on it for a few nights, and add the name last. Once the iron-on letters are applied the bed counts as personalised and can no longer be returned.
No — and that is the honest answer rather than the hopeful one. The Large fits a dog up to about 66 cm (26") nose to base of tail. Labradors, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Boxers, Cane Corsos, Labradoodles, Goldendoodles and most dogs over 23 kg / 50 lb are past that as adults.
We do not make a bed that fits them. Not a waiting list, not a special order — we simply do not offer it. If your dog is close to the line, measure them properly first. If they are well past it, we would rather you spent your money somewhere that fits them.
No. A Small and a Large is the whole range. The limit is shipping — the packed box for anything bigger goes past what our carriers will take at a sensible cost. There is no larger size and no date for one.
No set limit. The frame is built on a solid wood base and will take the heaviest dog that physically fits on it — fit is the constraint, not weight.
Often, yes, depending on the dogs. Helen in the EU bought a Soho Large to test the quality and sent us a photograph of all three of her small dogs competing for it — it is in the gallery above.
Size for the dogs you expect to be on it at once, and measure them together in the position they actually sleep in.
Yes. A cat is comfortably inside the Small — well under the 53 cm the size turns on — so the only question is whether they will use it, and in our experience they are less shy about a good bed than dogs are. The breed picker above covers dogs only.
Size for the adult dog. A puppy grows into a Large happily; a Small they outgrow in four months is money spent twice.
Two things worth knowing. The bed sits off the floor, so a very young puppy may need a hand getting up for the first week or two — one customer told us exactly that about a three-month-old. And if your breed's adult length is past 66 cm, our beds will not fit them as an adult, so better to know now.

No. Both come in the same two sizes and the sleep surface is identical between them — 55 × 69 cm for the Small, 65 × 78 cm for the Large. The difference is the upholstery and the shape of the frame: velvet with a scalloped headboard on the Luxor, vegan leather on a squared frame on the Soho.
